How to find and read NMLS education records and discover missing courses 

How do I get expert guidance on the minimum education needed to renew, reinstate, and/or get additional states? Read on to learn how to find your NMLS education solution. 

Please don't worry; every state-licensed MLO or person with an NMLS ID number has access to a course completion record in NMLS. Your education record has no sensitive information, and we can quickly and accurately inform you of your needed action plan. Accessing your NMLS education record is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Go to https://www.statemortgageregistry.com/Public/Default.aspx

2. Choose State: Non-depository or Federal

3. Enter your username and password, and click composite view on the top right

4. Click “View Individual” top middle, down a little

5. On the left-hand menu, click "Education Records."

6. Expand all pluses next to any 'Continuing Education' (CE) years to expand those years so we can discover any missed CE from previous years.

7. Once you've reviewed your record, use the below course category links to find your needed courses; if you are not certain precisely what you need, we are here to help, call us and we will walk through your NMLS education record and provide your solution(s) to accomplish your NMLS licensing objectives.
