How to find or obtain your NMLS number
Obtaining your Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number is a straightforward process. Simply visit https://www.statemortgageregistry.com/Public/Login.aspx and follow the prompts. If you haven't done so already, it only takes 1-2 minutes to receive your NMLS number, providing you with the necessary credentials for your mortgage loan originator licensing journey.

2. Click "Request an account"
3. Click "Individual." Write down this number. You will need to provide the number to AAA Mortgage Training so we can record your course completion on the NMLS for state mortgage loan originator licensing purposes.
If you have your number assigned but do not know it, follow these steps.

- Choose State: Non-depository or Federal
- Enter your username and password, and click composite view on the top right
- Click "View Individual" in the middle, located a little below.
- Your NMLS number is to the right of your name
Another method to find your NMLS number is if you have been licensed or a registered Mortgage Loan Originator in the last 5 years; you can look up yourself, any other mortgage originator, or mortgage company at www.NMLSConsumerAccess.org
