This 20-hour SAFE comprehensive course includes 3 hours of Federal law, 3 hours of Ethics, and 2 hours of training on nontraditional mortgage products. The remaining 12 hours of electives are allocated to the NMLS-tested content on the Uniform State Test, General Mortgage Knowledge, Federal Law, and Ethics. Included in this package is a progressive, comprehensive test prep path that prepares state-licensed mortgage loan originators (MLOs) to sit for the SAFE MLO National Component Test and pass on their first attempt. Upon successful completion of this class, the SAFE Act requirement for twenty (20) hours of Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) approved education is met.

Delivered in six modules of content, this twenty-hour comprehensive course has a scheduled start and end date and is available from any location with an internet connection.

• Module 1 includes content to prepare you for the NMLS Test Categories on the Uniform State Test (UST) and General Mortgage Knowledge. Learn the difference between depository and state-licensed mortgage loan originators, understand the licensing process, and master key concepts and terms of the mortgage industry.
• Module 4: Loan Origination Activities, covering conforming and government loan guidelines, loan-to-value ratios, qualifying borrowers, mortgage math, appraisals, title work, and more, to equip you with the basics to pass the NMLS exam.
• Module 3 Federal Law TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) covers in depth the disclosure, timelines for disclosure as well as redisclosure, waiting periods, and document retention requirements.
• Module 4 Federal law continues with Qualified Mortgages, Higher Priced Mortgages and High-Cost Mortgage loans, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and more
• Module 5 completes the strong foundation in Federal Law that we build with you for success on the NMLS exam outcomes, covering the Privacy Act (GLB), the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), and the Dodd-Frank Act.
• Module 6 concludes your SAFE 20-hour Comprehensive course on nontraditional mortgage lending, providing a working knowledge of Adjustable Rate Mortgages as the mortgage industry transitions from epic record-low interest rates to moderate interest rates. After class registration, students receive a “Course Assignment Notification” at the email address they provided. This notification provides the information required to successfully sign in to the Online Instructor-Led course through the LMS and includes such information as user account information, the title of the course, and the date and time the course begins and ends. This notification also serves as a confirmation of your successful registration and a reminder of the course details, ensuring a smooth start to your learning journey.

2. Friday weekend cram session, 4 days, finish by Monday midnight
3. Custom schedule: start on any day we both agree to, and the length of the schedule varies from as little as 2 days to a maximum of 14 days for only the 20-hour portion of your successful education and testing plan of action.

Your instructor is accessible by email, chat feature, text, and or phone every day of your course schedule, and for your extended test preparation period, remember the 2-14 day course schedule is for the 20-hour part of your course package only, test preparation access and effort begins after your 20-hour course completion window. Content is released according to the course schedule, so choose a schedule length consistent with your best-effort completion timeline. 14-day schedules do not permit significantly faster completion times, such as 7 days.
